About Us

Deep River Design was established in 1992 by designer goldsmith Russell D. Cunningham and his wife Lisa. We are a traditional goldsmith’s studio and gallery located in a restored eighteenth century sea captain’s house on South Main St. in Deep River. Russell has been designing and handcrafting fine jewelry for more than 30 years.

He is highly skilled working in platinum, 14k and 18k gold. Our specialty is custom design and restoration. We are well versed in a variety of styles from traditional to contemporary. We maintain an extensive portfolio of our custom designs and restorations that we invite our clients to view. Our gallery features a large selection of finished jewelry, fine diamonds and gemstones. We are members of the American Gem Trade Association.
